“ Absolutely delicious, we had beef tacos, gamba cowboy, and shredded pork nachos, all looked posh and tasted great. The in-house made chilli sauces were all flavoursome and suitable levels of heat to suit different tastes. The home made baked cheese cake was rich and very large. We left deeply satisfied and happy for 25€ each. It's really fun inside, super bright bold colours and cool wall paintings. The staff are very friendly, attentive and patient. If I lived locally I'd be a regular customer. ”
“ I've been twice, and I couldn't recommend more! It's real mexican food made by Mexican chef. Good and quick service, I also had very nice non-alcohol cider that worked with the food very nicely. “ We’ve been looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant near us, for 4 years - mistake was we looked by the coast not thinking that in beautiful Alhaurin there it was! A true gem of Mexican cuisine One of the proprietors Karl, was fantastic host and his homemade hot sauces were brilliant and diverse! “ Called in here last night, and glad we did. Gerald is a good fella, as took the time to explain and chat with us. Good selection of food on offer, for starters we opted for the nachos to share, with chicken and cheese, guacamole, jalapeno, really tasty. Then mains , nachos with pork belly, or smoked pork belly, fried chicken cauchion burrito, and a black Angus burrito. With side salad. Very good portions, and a lot to eat. The staff really friendly , price reasonable. But then you will have to call in and taste for yourself. ”
“ We stopped for some lunch after a motorbike ride. The reviews looked good and this place was excellent. The owners and staff were very friendly and the place was immaculate. We had the quesabirria and fish taco baja style, both were so good especially the beef jus. We were too busy drooling over the food to take photos, sorry! “ 5 Stars – Always a Brilliant Experience We’ve been coming here for years and it’s consistently excellent. The food is fresh, full of flavour, and properly made. The nachos are delicious– we get them every time, and they never disappoint. Pair them with a margarita or a Chelada beer and you’re set! We love dropping in for a drink and a bite – it’s relaxed, easy-going, and exactly the kind of place you want to spend time in. There’s a great energy to the place – casual but clearly run with care and pride. Karl looks after front of house – Irish, sound, full of personality, always makes you feel at home. His wife, who’s Mexican, does all the cooking and the food is always great! They also make their own salsas, which are fantastic – fresh, spicy, full of depth. We’ve brought jars home more than once. They’re that good! Love them and well done guys! Everything just clicks – the food, the people, the atmosphere. We’ve always had a great time here and it’s an easy place to recommend.
